how do you upgrade memory on an F-series (the ones with the plastic, gray housing) Handpunch or Handkey?

First, determine if you have the older F1 model or the newer F3/F4 model:

 look at the back of the handreader, at the mainboard;

   - if you see a red or blue box with 5 dip switches in the corner of the mainboard, you have the F1 model

   - if you see a small, square, white reset button in the middle of the mainboard, you have the F3 model

 NOTE: before you do a memory upgrade, please backup your user database   ***********************

Memory upgrades for the F1 model are done by ordering & installing the appropriate memory upgrade chip on the mainboard
