How do you slow down the closing speed of the 4600 series operator?

The hydraulic closer underneath the control box has 3 regulating valves (like any 4040 series hydraulic closer).

  • Main Speed - adjust closing speed from 90° open down to 10°.
  • Latch Speed - adjust closing speed from 10° open down to 0° (full closed).
  • Backcheck - slows down down at 70° during opening.

 Refer to page 9, #1 of the instructions for adjusting the regulation valve.
