How do you invert the cam on the back of a FSIC mortise housing for dogging applications?

To invert (or dog) the straight cam on the back a a FSIC mortise housing, you must follow the steps outlined below.

  1. Insert the FSIC core and remove the key. NOTE: It is important to have the core installed so the cam is not simply rotated 180°.
  2. Remove the cam screw on the back of the housing
  3. Remove the cam, invert the cam (rotate 180°) and reinstall
  4. Reinstall the cam screw
