How do you install the plug cover on an Everest SL cylinder?

Here are the steps to get the best crimp on the SL pin cover:

  1. Make sure there is no key in the plug.
  2. Make sure all the L pins are pressed all the way down in the plug before adding springs.
  3. Add springs to the top of the L pins.P
  4. Place the cover on top of the springs and tilt one side of the cover into the oval groove.
  5. Use the top of the block to press down and crimp the strip into place.

By setting the cover into one edge first, that helps align the cover as it is pressed down and crimped. Making sure the pins and springs are as low as possible in the plug minimizes the need to balance the cover above the plug.
