How do you create an API Token in Pure Access for integration with an API application?

An Admin web-user on the tenant will:

Go to “Settings” – Gear Icon on left-hand side of Pure Access

Go to “API Tokens” tab at top of screen

Select the green “+” icon, then “Create API Token”

Enter a “Name” for this token.  Usually labeled for its intended application purpose.  Ex “AD Connect” “Monitor System” etc.

Select an applicable application option from the drop down.

Important: Now copy the generated “Token ID” and “Token Value” so a safe location for future reference and use.

Leave “Expiration Date” blank for the token to never expire or set the token to expire sometime in the future to better safeguard the tenant.

Set token to “Read Only” or disable “Read Only”, depending on whether the API application must just read data from Pure Access, or if it will be writing data to Pure Access.
