How do you change the length of user codes on the Schlage Encode?

If the lock is connected to the Schlage home app:

  1. Open the Schlage home app 
  2. Select the lock you wish to manage
  3. Select Access located in the bottom right corner of the app
  4. Select Delete all codes 
  5. Press + located in the top right hand corner of the app
  6. Add a new 4-8 digit code and press save 

 

 

 

 

If you are manually programming the lock:

 

Caution!

Changing the user code length will delete all codes currently in the lock!
