How do I restore my database into Express software?

These are the steps to restore a Locklink/SMS Express database.

  1. Copy the .lld database file onto the desktop of the new computer
  2. Login to the Schlage Express Software
  3. Click on Facility -> Restore Backup
  4. Browse to the Desktop of your computer and find the .lld file that you copied there, click on it so it's highlighted, and then click the "Open".
  5. Database is now restored and all icons activated.
