How do I prevent the arm screw from coming loose and sliding up and down the main arm?

If arm screw is not gripping the forearm tube enough to securely hold the rod and shoe in place:

  1. If the allen head on the arm screw (-83) is stripped out, try using a wrench to tighten it.
  2. Try replacing the arm screw with a new screw or add a very small amount of loctite (blue) to threads.
  3. If neither of the two above solutions fix the issue, replace arm.
