How do I perform NDE Firmware Updates?

 

There are four methods to update firmware in an ENGAGE Devices that use Wi-Fi.  
          (BE467 and FE410 are ENGAGE devices that do not have Wi-Fi)

1) One method is to use the nightly Wi-Fi update to automatically load new firmware. When the ENGAGE device has Wi-Fi ON and connected you can activate the update with the ENGAGE Web Application. Only on NDE, LE and CTE.

 2) The second uses the ENGAGE Mobile Application to update the device/lock firmware over Wi-Fi.

      - This easiest and quickest method is when the ENGAGE device is set-up and connected to Wi-Fi and you command "Firmware Update" from the CONNECT screen with the Mobile ENGAGE Application.
 
3) The third method, if there is no Wi-Fi available for the ENGAGE device. This third method loads the firmware using the ENGAGE Mobile APP connectivity, transferring and updating it to the ENGAGE Device. 
 
4) The fourth method is with ENGAGE devices that are LINKED to a Gateway, The Gateway can manage and load firmware updates to the LINKED devices.
