You can only update the firmware on the Control lock using the Engage app on your mobile device.
Go to the lock, in the Engage app select the door you want to update the firmware on.
Click on More, then Update firmware. Click on Update.
It will download the firmware, then it will transfer the file to the lock. The lock internally will update the firmware.
The lock will be blinking Red and Green while updating it. Once the LED's stop flashing, and you hear 3 beeps, the update is complete.
