How do I know which memory upgrade I need for my F-Series hand reader?

The best way to determine which memory an F-series hand reader needs is to look at the version of the main circuit board.

If the main circuit board has a white reset button, it is an F3 version therefore the hand reader would need a memory code.

If the main circuit board has a dip switch box with 5 switches, it is an F1 version therefore the hand reader would need a memory chip.
