How do I insure a fast "LOCK DOWN" with a wireless device?

Wake Up on Radio Operation – Wireless AD-Series Devices:
The AD-Series wireless access point modules have a Wake Up on Radio feature that allows certain actions originating in the Access Control Panel (ACP) to be received by the wireless access point modules quickly, without the need to wait for a scheduled “Heartbeat” from the WAPM.

When WoR is enabled, just the radio module on the AD-Series wireless access point module will wake up every few seconds, per the WoR period setting, to listen for a RF beacon message from the PIM400 radio. Not all commands from the ACP will necessarily call for a beacon message to be sent from the PIM400-485 only certain commands. If no RF wake up beacon is heard, the radio will briefly go back to sleep and the wireless access point module will remain asleep. If there is a transmission of the WoR wake up beacon with a command pending, the AD-series wireless access point module radio will quickly detect the beacon, wake up the entire module and responded to the lock command. When the PIM400 radio broadcasts a wake up beacon the AD400 radio module detects the beacon and wakes up the AD400 wireless access point module.

This document explains the operation, setup and usage of Wake Up on Radio for the AD-Series on-line wireless access point modules. It also explains why Dynamic Channel Switching is recommended when WoR is enabled. WoR TECH NOTE
