How do I change the handing on a Schlage L9000 mortise lock?

In order to change the handing, one or both of the following steps should be followed:
  1. Pull out the latch and rotate 180 degrees
  2. Handing screw must be installed on the interior side of the chassis.  If necessary, move the screw to the opposite side.
