How can I run Handnet for Windows in XP compatibility mode?

To run Handnet in XP compatibility mode you have to change it in the Handnet for Windows icon. You do this on Windows 7 or Windows 8 machines so that the database does not get pointed to the roaming profile anymore.

Right click on the Handnet for Windows icon and go to properties.
In here choose the compatibility tab
Then Check the box that says run this program in compatibility mode and choose XP SP3
Then click on Change Settings for All Users at the bottom
Check the same box again and choose XP SP3 again

Then hit apply and OK.

The Handnet system will now look at the default directory for the database of C:\Program Files x86\Recognition Systems Inc\Handnet for Windows
