HHD - will not stay charged

The HHD should be fully charged whenever it is used.  Full charge is indicated by the Battery Status LED on the top left-hand side of the HHD.  The LED should go from RED to GREEN when full charge is achieved.

 

If the HHD is not staying charged:

  • Be sure the battery charger is powered and that the connection to the HHD is good
  • Be sure to close the SUS application before turning OFF your HHD.  The SUS will periodically cause the HHD to “Turn ON” since it is still running in the background and looking for a lock to communicate with. 
    • If the HHD is left unattended, with the SUS application running, it will turn itself ON and drain the batteries
    • Be sure to close the SUS application before turning OFF your HHD to prevent this from happening
