For the Offline locks AD-200, AD-250 and CO-200 what is the purpose of the coin cell.

The coin cell maintains the real time clock on offline locks. This allow for accurate execution of timed functions.

If all AA battery and Coin cell battery power is lost, when AD-200/AD-250/CO-200 the Real-Time Clock powers back up it starts on 1-Jan-2000. This will cause credentials with more recent activation dates (or maybe time zones) to be denied.

- Use the HHD/SUS to set and check the correct time of the Real Time Clock after a battery change so the correct time is used to check valid credentials. The AD-200/AD-250/CO-200 time is displayed at the top of the HHD/SUS "View" tab.

The coin cell battery is a 3 volt part number #CR2025
