FE51- How loud is the lock

The FE51 alarm lock produces 90 decibels.  That is comparable to a smoke detector. 

The FE51 can be set to 3 different alert settings which will change the alarm settings. 

For example:

  • Activity alert- Alarm will just beep everytime the door opens. The alarm will sound two short beeps
  • Tamper Alert- Alarm will sound for 15 seconds when the door knob/lever is disturbed
  • Forced Entry Alert- Alarm will give out a shrill 3 minute sound when significant force is used on the door.
