Warning: Factory default reset will remove all codes and virtual keys that have been programmed to your lock. These codes cannot be retrieved so be sure you have your default codes available to re-program the lock.
Locate the default programming and access codes on the back of your Quick Start Guide (included in the box) or on the label next to the FDR button.
I want to move my lock to a different door.
I forgot my new programming code.
I connected my Encode to a smart home system but want to unpair, erase all of my codes, and restore all of my default settings.
Take off the battery cover..
Press and hold the black circle reset button to the right of the thumb-turn on the inside of the lock. The LED will flash red. Keep holding the button until the LED stops flashing red.
The LED will light solid blue when the FDR is complete. It may take up to 10 seconds before it lights.
Your lock is now reset to factory default settings!
