The Error 70 when closing SMS Express occurs when an end user is using Vista, they are not logged in as the administrator and they are trying to backup to the root of the C:\ drive. This would also be the cause of a registration key not being saved. The user has to be logged in as the admistrator when registering the software. Even if the user is in the administrator group, Vista does not give the user all of the rights as the administrator. The end user may have to enable the administrator account. If during installation of Vista, the end user creates an account, Vista automatically disables the administrator account.
