Resolution: Von Duprin sells a weatherproof RX (WP-RX) switch. It mounts on the side of the baseplate in the same position as an auxiliary (RX-AUX) switch. Exit devices are not available with dual WP-RX switches The WP-RX is visually identifiable by a green button that the actuator depresses.
