For 98/99 Rim and Vertical Exit Devices with the Double Cylinder (-2 or -2SI) feature;
The NL Drive Screw must be installed in the Master Cam on the back of the centercase with the Trim Lock Tumbler in the UP position.
This allows the Pull Side Cylinder to retract the latch (like an NL function) adn the Push Side Cylinder to Lock/Unlock the Lever on the Pull Side as intended.
As noted in Step 2 on page 1 of the Von Duprin -2 and -2SI Device and Retrofit Installation Instructions, the Trim Lock Tumbler must be in the UP position.
If the Trim Lock Tumbler is not in the UP position;
For the 98/9975 Mortise Exit Devices with the Double Cylinder (-2 or -2SI) feature;
Leave the 7500 Mortise Lock body in the NL function as it shipped from the factory.
Do Not turn the function screw on the side of the 7500 Lock Body for classroom function.
