Does Schlage have any one-sided deadbolts?
Schlage has a couple different styles of one-sided deadbolts.
We carry a commercial grade one-sided deadbolt that has a thumbturn on the inside and an "In Use" indicator plate on the outside.
We also carry two different residential one-sided deadbolts - one with an outside plate and another without the outside plate.
The B81 has a round outside plate and a thumbturn on the inside. It uses a 1-1/2" bore hole and can serve as a dummy or hole cover.
The B80 has a thumbturn and deabolt latch, but no plate on the outside. You do not have to drill the hole all the way through the door. It uses a 1-1/2" bore hold with an option to fit 1/8. It is a great way to add security and do it in a more secretive way.
All of these one sided deadbolts can be special ordered at your local hardware store or most of our online dealers.
