Does Schlage AD and CO locks accept Falcon 6-pin and 7-pin cylinders?
When AD or CO locks are order less cylinder (LD ), included is a tailpiece kit for use with Falcon 6-pin cylinders (A23161-05). The tailpiece kit installation instructions can be found here.

When AD or CO locks are ordered less cylinder (LD FA7) for Falcon 7-pin cylinders (A23171-05), the tailpiece required is the 23779820 and will be supplied. This option is not available for the 993 ATH or 993 8AT.
When using Falcon 6-pin cylinders, the tailpieces used are 02164-001 for use with cylindrical locks, and 02164-002 for use with MS/MD Mortise and 993** exit locks. The 024264-000 spacer and the 012053-000 retainer must be used in conjunction with the tailpieces.
** Use the chart below for the recommended tailpiece length for use with the particular lock style.
