Yes, M996L trim works with Von Duprin delayed egress devices. (Chexit, DE5300, RCM).
If your M996L is not operating in Fail Secure mode as expected, please follow the steps below.
My M996L Trim Should Operate as Fail Secure (FSE) With Delayed Egress:
All M996L trim are shipped Fail Safe (FS) by defaut. Followig the following steps:
1. Set Chexit switch 12 to OFF. (Step 9 of Chexit instructions)
2. Set switch on M996L to FSE. (Step 2.2 of M996L instructions)
3. With Chexit powered and in Armed mode, toggle INH input with valid credential.
4. Test trim. M996L should now operate as Fail Secure.
5. If trim didn't change to FSE, repeat steps 3 and 4.
