Completing a factory reset on your lock WILL NOT exclude the unit. The best way is to do an exclusion is through the app of your Z-Wave hub (See App instructions to exclude devices). If that doesn't work, a forced exclusion (ZP Models Only) can be performed by pressing and holding the enroll/unenroll button until it blinks green.
