Do you have to calibrate the L9000 ELR?
Purpose - Calibration is done to accommodate the variations in the assembly that can happen because of tolerance of part dimensions in the mechanisms. All locks are calibrated before packing and shipping. Ideally there is no need to perform a calibration step again in the field. Calibration can be reinitiate in case of unexpected behavior by following the steps below.
Calibration Method
1) Supply rated power to the ELR connector
2) Latch is retracted
3) Press and release the button
4) Latch gets Extended, Retracted, Extended and again Retracted
5) Power cycle to ensure normal behavior of latch retraction
