Do the Gen2 L9000 indicators require handing in the field?

The handing steps for Gen2 indicators (for Schlage L mortise locks) was drastically simplified compared to Gen 1.  

  1. On the indicator module, find the cam spindle.  
  2. Rotate the cam spindle (either clockwise or counterclockwise) until the message sign is pulled downward and a pair of arrows is revealed.
