CO-200 - Problems Clearing Memory

CO-200 cannot be reset  to defaults using the procedure listed in the CO-200 user guide, page 10, this is a known issue.

The CO-200 demonstration units, sent to SSC and Dealers, may have shipped with an old version of the CO firmware which behaves more like the CO-100.

To check for the firmware version, connect an HHD running Schlage Utility Software to the lock.

-Put the lock into communication mode by pressing the "Schlage" button twice.

-On the SUS, click "Device Options", then "Lock Properties".

-Expand the information tree by clicking the "+" next to "Main Lock"

If the "Firmware Version" reads 1.7 or earlier, this may be the cause.

The lock user will need to update the lock to the most recent version of the firmware (2.4 as of 11/8/2010, and contained in package 1.16) to remedy the issue and the lock will be able to be reset using the instructions given in the user guide.

The latest CO firmware package is posted in the support website at www.schlage.com/support, under CO series Electronic Locks section.
