Changing the EL/EU switch on my L9090, L9091, L9092, L9093, L9094, or L9095 does not work.
Changing the position of the EL/EU (mode) switch will not take place until after power is applied.
EXAMPLE: The lock shipped from the factory in the EL (electrically locked) mode. If the position of the EL/EU switch is changed from EL (electrically locked) to EU (electrically unlocked) and then installed, the lock will remain in the locked position (Fail Secured) until power is applied. Once power is applied the lock will detect the position of the EL/EU switch and respond in this example by becoming EU (electrically unlocked).
IMPORTANT: Do not change the position of the EL/EU switch with power applied. Remove power, change the switch, then reapply power.
