CDT with Firefox browser does not work

WA-PIM-485 utility CDT will not open Using Mozilla Fire Fox or Google Chrome, it is not compatible with those browsers.
You must use Internet Explorer to open CDT.

The current CDT version 3.04 will work on a PC with Microsoft Internet Explorer up to version 11.x without loading previous versions of Java, like Java v6u6 or requiring newer Java versions than are typically currently installed on your IE browser.

When starting the local stored CDT web page, basically the browser says there is new version of Java, but just click past the error(s) by allowing to use the current browser configuration and allowing blocked scripts and content.  There might be some additional security options set on the browser that need to be temporarily bypassed also, with Run this Time, and accepting the security risk and run now options, and don’t Block content, etc. answering as the questions pop up during start-up application run-time – every time you run the software.

The specific site PC and IE browser security protocols might be more restrictive than our test computer, so confirm running options with your IT department if the suggestions above do not work for you.
