Can you power an electric strike or maglock from the 9500 Series Senior Swing?

An electric strike or maglock (24 volt only) can be wired to a Senior Swing 2800/9500 series operator using the P10 Lock Interface cable.

For Current Sr Swing control boxes with ID# 72940 on the sticker – they produced DC power out of the P10

So to power the 24VDC electric strike or maglock off a LCN Senior Swing 2800/9500 models see wiring diagram and instructions (figure 3.6 on top half of page 6) in the Senior Swing control box instructions. See here.

For Older Sr. Swing control boxes with ID# 710164 on the sticker – they produced AC power out of the P10

So to power the 24VDC electric strike or maglock off these older LCN Senior Swing Control boxes, a Von Duprin SO24 rectifier(which was included in Senior Swing parts bag at time of shipment) is required to power the electric strike or maglock. See wiring diagram and instructions (figure 3.6 on top half of page 7) in the older Senior Swing control box instructions.  See here.
