Can the ND50 or ND53 be locked with key on the outside?
The ND50 and the ND53 can only be locked with the Push Button on the inside.
ND50 operation, the key will only unlock the lock and retract the latch.
ND53 operation, the key will unlock the lock and retract the latch, unless the push button is pushed and turned. If the push button is pushed and turned, the key will retract the latch only but will not unlock the lock.
Timing
There is no 360 degree key rotation on the ND50 or ND53. During installation, rotate the keycam to horizontal position (3:00 and 9:00). Insert the cylinder in the lever. Insert the key and rotate 90 degrees. Install the lever and cylinder. If the key will not return to the position to allow key removal, simply remove the lever, rotate the key 180 degrees and re-install the lever.
