The latches for the standard Von Duprin 98/9947, 33/3547A, and 94/9547 Concealed Vertical Rod devices must be mounted using latch mounting brackets that are screwed into the top and or bottom of the door per their appropriate templates and instructions.
The Von Duprin 98/9949 and 33/3549A Concealed Vertical Cable devices are mounted using similar mounting brackets on Hollow Metal Doors or can be mounted to the skin of an Aluminum door as shown in their respective templates and instructions.
