Can the driver be replaced on the Gen1 indicator for the Schlage L9000 locks?
The following information is only for the Gen1 indicators for the Schlage L9000 mortise locks.
The driver is replaceable, part numbers are as follows:
- L283-561 cam kit is used on the cylinder and privacy indicator functions.
- Includes the L583-739 cam and L583-898 e-clip.
- L283-629 cam kit is used on the thumbturn and cointurn indicator functions.
Only applies to the indicators as shown below:
