Can I use CD and ALK on a 98/99 series Von Duprin?
Standard 98/99 exit alarm ALK devices are available with cylinder dogging option as of October, 2011.
The device can be ordered standard with cylinder dogging and exit alarm ALK option on non fire rated exit devices.
This CED-ALK combination is available on 33A/35A Series exit devices as special order products. but not on 22 series devices.
Exit alarm ALK kit is rotated 180 degrees opposite of standard to provide cylinder dogging option.
3' minimum door opening is required for 3' device with an exit alarm ALK and cylinder dogging and 3' 6" minimum door opening for 4' device.
