Can I use CD and ALK on a 98/99 series Von Duprin?

  1. Standard 98/99 exit alarm ALK devices are available with cylinder dogging option as of October 2011.
  2. The device can be ordered standard with cylinder dogging and exit alarm ALK option on non fire-rated exit devices.
  3. The CD-ALK combination is available on 33A/35A Series exit devices.
  4. The CD-ALK combination is NOT available on 22 series devices.
  5. The exit alarm ALK kit is rotated 180 degrees opposite of standard position to provide the cylinder dogging option.
  6. 3' minimum door opening is required for 3' device with an exit alarm ALK and cylinder dogging and 3' 6" minimum door opening for 4' device.
