Can I use a keypad lock on my gate?

No, we do not recommend using a keypad lock on your gate. Although the keypad side is meant to be on an exterior door, the interior side of the lock should not be exposed to weather. Any exposure to weather, for example rain or condensation, will cause damage to the wires, and battery. This in turn will cause the lock to not operate properly, if at all. In addition, this will void the warranty on the lock.
