Can I use a 4040SE with a Glynn Johnson 100S?

Mounting with GJ90 Series Stop:

  • If the 4040SE is mounted on the"Pull Side" of the door, (requires a 4040SE-18 drop plate). Holes will need to be drilled in the drop plate to clear the GJ900 thru bolts.
  • If the 4040SE is mounted on the "Push side" of the door, the only way to use a GJ90 series, is to mount the GJ90 on the "Pull Side" of the door with the Glynn Johnson "J" brackets. (90J Series, 90 Series with Angle Jamb Bracket).

Mounting with the GJ100 Series Stop:

  • If the 4040SE is mounted on the"Pull Side" of door, use ST2806 (requires a 4040SE-18G drop plate).
  • If the 4040SE is mounted on the "Push Side" of the door, there is no conflict with a 100S. The 100H cannot be used.
