Can I order my locks with matching keys?

Yes, your Schlage locks can all be keyed alike. Here are a few different options:

1. Purchasing New Locks

• When purchasing new locks, you can special order them to be keyed alike. Simply consult a Pro at Lowe's, Home Depot, or Build.com. They can assist you in ensuring all your new locks use the same key. 

• When you purchase Schlage locks online through Build with Ferguson, there is a “free keying option” for you to select before adding a product to your cart. From there, you can choose to have your new locks keyed alike, keyed different, or enter a key code to match your new lock to pre-owned locks.

• For mechanical locks, look for the sticker stating "Key Alike?" on the box, which will have it's own unique code. By finding boxes with matching codes, you can ensure that all purchased mechanical locks will use the same key right out of the box. This is a convenient way to ensure all your locks are keyed alike without additional steps.

2. Matching a New Lock to an Existing One

• If you want a new lock to match your existing lock, you simply need your 5-digit key code. Most retailers can rekey the new lock to match your existing key. Provide the 5-digit key code stamped on the back of your Schlage key to ensure a perfect match. We do recommend calling the location prior to ensure this service is available.
