Can I order a split finish item?
We do offer split designs and/or finishes on locks as long as they are offered in that particular design and/or finish. It is unlikely that your local hardware or retail store will have this item in stock. However, it can be special ordered at the store’s service desk or online through Build.com. The lock is priced at the highest finish.
Examples:
An F40 Georgian knob (Bed & Bath function) is available in both Antique Brass (609) and Bright Chrome (625) finishes. To order the Georgian knob in Antique Brass for the exterior of the door and in Bright Chrome for the interior, you would order: F40 GEO 609 x 625 (outside finish listed first).
An F60 Plymouth handleset for a right handed door is available in Bright Brass (505) finish. It can be paired with the Flair lever in Antique Brass (609) on the interior by ordering: F60 PLY 505 FLA 609 RH.
Dexter by Schlage handlesets are also available in split or multiple finishes. However, the exterior and interior parts must be ordered separately. No other functions are available in split finishes unless they are listed in the price book.
