Can I configure the KP2000 to simultaneously trigger the main and auxillary relay?

Resolution:

The Aux relay of the KP2000 does not simultaneously trigger with the main relay by default.

To Program KP2000 to simultaneously fire main and aux relay, use the following procedure.

1. Reset Keypad

     99# (Master Code)* Enter Programming mode

     46# 00000# 00000#** Resets keypad

      * (to exit program mode)

2. Verify Standalone mode

     7890#123456*

     Red, Yellow, Green LED's light, then Red flashes indicating Standalone mode

     If keypad needs to be change to standalone mode:

          99# (Master Code)* Enter Programming mode

          1032# 0# 0# **

          * (to exit program mode)

3. Change Master Code (default 1234)

     99# 1234* Enter Programming mode

     1# (new master code)* (repeat new master code)* example: 1# 999* 999*

     * (to exit program mode)

4. Disable Virtual Output Needed to Control the Aux Relay.

     99# (Mastercode)* Enter programming mode example: 99# 999*

     10# (Virtual Output)# 0# ** Disable Alarm Shunt Virtual Output example: 10# 2# 0# **

     * (to exit program mode)

5. Assign (Virtual) Output to (Physical) Output

     10# (Virtual Output)# (Physical Output)# ** Virtual Out-2 to Aux example: 10# 5# 2# **

     * (to exit program mode)

6. Add User to Trigger Specific Physical Output(s) (Lock=1, Aux=2, External Relay 1=3, External Relay 2=4, etc.)

Assign User 4 with code 444 to trigger Main and Aux Relay example:
