Can any button press turn on the touch screen of my lock

The lock will register the pressed key as the first digit of a User Code. Unless the intended User Code begins with the same digit that was pressed, the lock will indicate an invalid Code and deny access. The user has two options:
  • Wait for the lock to go back to sleep, press the Schlage button and enter the User Code
  • Immediately push the Schlage button (clears the keypad buffer) and enter the User Code
