Many 600 and 700 Series Pin & Barrel Continuous Hinges can be cut down in the field following the steps provided in the installation instructions to cut the bottom of the hinge.
For a small fee, Ives can cut the hinge at the factory for non-standard sizes.
When ordered with the Hospital Tip option, field cutting is no longer available because the pin cannot be removed to cut per those instructions. Therefore, when ordering a 600 or 700 Series Pin & Barrel Continuous Hinge with the HT option, the size required should be indicated so that the hinge can be sized accordingly at the factory.
