The Schlage F60 handleset is created by combining a Schlage F58 (Exterior) with a F59(Interior). If you purchase a new F59 with the desired knob the replacement will come with a new chasis that will allow installation with a previously installed F58. However, if you try to install a knob from an alternative handle on the chasis of an F59 designed to be used with a lever the handle will not work as desired. The entire chasis must be repalced in order to support the change from lever to knob.
