Can a door have an InPact device and glass lights?

Yes, glass light can be used or prepped in conjunction with the Von Duprin 94/95 Series INPACT device however there are dimensional limitations between the glass light and the InPact door preparations.

Hardware and glass light locations when using Steelcraft glass trim:

  1. The minimum clearance between top of the VD 94/95 Series INPACT device cutout and exposed glass = 4 3/4".
  2. The minimum clearance between top of the VD 94/95 Series INPACT device cutout and glass cutout = 4".
  3. From top of cutout of VD 9447 device to Finished Opening for the glass = 4 3/4" minimum


Glass lights available:

  1. Standard Glass Lights - The N4, N5 & V lite can be used at standard locations with out any modification.
  2. Glass Light Options - Other glass lights are available but have limited height due to the exit device preparation and location.
