Von Duprin discontinued selling a 12" Extension Rod for the standard 98/9927/57/-F devices before 2016.
The 36" Extension Rod (051802 x finish) can be cut when necessary in the field.
Note that the Extension Rod Kits come with a single Connector to attach the Extension Rod to the Standard Rod supplied with the Exit Device.
The Rods and Extension Rods for the standard 98/9927/57/-F devices are square, aluminum rods.
The Windstorm (WS or WS-T) 98/9927/57/-F devices only offer a 12" Extension Rod (051812 x finish) because the maximum door height for these devices is 8'.
The Rods and Extension Rods for the WS/WS-T98/99/27/57-F devices are round, steel rods.
