Can 2227F devices in an existing opening be converted to LBR?

To convert the 2227F to 2227F-LBR, order a LBR Fire Latch/Strike kit part number 050171-32.  

This kit includes the Aux Fire latch and plug in addition to the 499F strikes for both leafs of the pair.  Only one kit is required per pair of devices.
