BE469 is "locked" but Z-wave controller says it is "unlocked"

Resolution:

Issue: The lock is actually "locked" but the status/notification on my Z-wave system says it is "unlocked." The opposite may also be true.

Environment:

BE469NX Touchscreen Deadbolt
Any Z-wave provider

Cause: The cause is one or more of the following:

Timing Misalignment
Door Prep Misalignment

Resolution:

Un-enroll the lock.
Check the installation. The driver bar and cam alignment along with the Factory Default Reset are critical. Follow this article to check key points about installation (opens in a new window). Come back to this article and continue with Step 3, when you complete the instructions in the article with a Green Check Mark.
With the door closed and taking a key with you, cycle through locking and unlocking using the keypad.
Green Check Mark. Continue to step 4.
Red X. The door prep is causing interference. Review this article/video to see what modifications need to be made (opens in a new window).
Re-enroll the lock.
