Are window kits available for Steelcraft doors?

Window kits are available for Steelcraft doors as either factory installed or prepared and installed by a distributor. Factory prepared light cutouts are supplied with Dezigner trim as standard. Around the cutout is a recess formed into the door face which allows the trim to seat flush to the surface of the door.

Standard trim offerings:

1. Dezigner Trim:
   • For 1/4" thick glass, Standard unless otherwise specified.
   • Optionl DeZigner for 1/2" thick glass.
2. Optional Flush Steel Trim (stop and bead), this trim fits into the same cutout (recess) as the DeZigner trim.
   • Optional 1/4" thick glass
   • Optional 1" thick insulated glass
3. Optional Overlapping Steel Trim (stop and bead), , this trim does not fit into the recess cutout (aka conventional trim).
   • Bead can be set to accommodate 1/4" thick through 5/8" thick glass.

Field installation of Steelcraft glass trims:

1. Pre cut trim kits for all standard light cutouts are available as packages from the parts section of the price manual.
2. Steelcraft does offer Dezigner trim kits for use in doors that are cutout by others in the field.
