Are there ADA standards for clearance between the door face and door pulls?

The accessibility standards don’t include a dimension for clearance behind the door pull, but the Access Board is publishing (chapter-by-chapter) an online guide to the ADA.  The guide for Chapter 4 shows a minimum clearance of 1 ½” behind the pull, which is consistent with the clearance required for handrails and grab bars.  There is a link to the guide and some other info on this blog post.
