Are the Schlage readers IP rated?

The Schlage readers are IP65 rated.  The term "IP" stands for Ingress Protection Rating or International Protection Rating.  The first digit, "6", represents the Solid Particle Protection rating and for the Schlage reader, means Dust Tight.  The second digit, "5", represents Liquid Protection and for the Schlage reader, means the level of protection is water projected by a nozzle (6.3 mm) against enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effects.
